We’re so excited to invite you to join us for our second in-person Creative Summit at the Lia Griffith Craft Lab in Portland, Oregon – September 26-28, 2025!
This is your chance to spend a hands-on, joy-filled weekend creating paper flowers with a community of fellow makers who love crafting as much as you do! Together, we’ll dive into beautiful projects, share techniques, and create memories that will inspire your crafting journey long after you return home.

Friday, September 26th
4:00 – 8:00 pm – Welcome & Opening Dinner and community time

Saturday, September 27th
8:15 am – Hotel pickup (Hilton Canopy)
8:30-9:00 am – Morning beverages and snacks
9:00-12:00 – Hands-on workshop: A new Peony
Noon – Catered lunch
1:00-4:00 pm – Hands-on workshop: Flower 2
4:30-6:30 pm – Tour to the Portland Japanese Gardens (subject to change)
Evening – Optional group dinner or free time to explore Portland’s creative scene

What We’ll Make Together
Get ready for a gorgeous fall-inspired flower collection! This year’s Creative Summit features three stunning blooms that capture the rich beauty of autumn:
🌸 Lush Peony – The star of our weekend! Learn to create this full, romantic bloom with layers of delicate petals
🍂 Two coordinating fall flowers – Beautiful complementary blooms that perfectly enhance your peony (specific varieties to be announced soon!)
Each project is designed to challenge your skills, spark your creativity, and leave you with a stunning fall arrangement you’ll treasure forever. These flowers bring pure crafty joy and are perfect for your autumn decor!
Travel & Accommodations
Airfare & lodging are not included.
You can stay anywhere in Portland, but we’d love to see your face every morning at hotel pickup!
Hotel Information: Accommodations are not included in the event ticket price. We have blocked rooms at a beautiful Portland hotel. Once you have purchased your pass to the event, you will receive an email with the link to reserve your room. You will also be invited to join our private event community page, where you can connect with fellow makers, plan airport transportation, or arrange room shares.
Getting Here: We’ll email you more information about our favorite airport transportation options. You can also connect with fellow makers on our event community page—because crafting friends make the best travel buddies!
Transportation to Our Craft Lab: We’ll handle getting you to and from our studio each day, so you can simply show up ready to create and have fun.
