JENNIFER –
I’m not sure that I would really use this as a thimble as it is not very thick, I would think it would wear a hole pretty quickly? Maybe meant more for light sewing? But, it makes the most awesome needle puller/gripper! When I’m quilting or sewing I use my regular thimble on my middle finger and I put this on my index finger to provide extra grip for pulling the needle, it lessens my hand fatigue immensely allowing me to sew much longer, it is breathable, kinda stretchy so it fits comfortably and securely and thank goodness doesn’t have that awful smell like the rubber fingers made for paper sorting.
